In a joint research project with the group of Ben Feringa we studied light-triggered supramolecular polymer disassembly by High speed AFM. This month Angewandte Chemie accepted our paper!

Our Optical Tweezers paper on Histone-Chaperone interactions is published in Advanced Science . With the group of Irene Díaz-Moreno we here scrutinised nucleosome remodeling and histone eviction at the single-molecule level.

Our Pathfinder grant from the European Innovation Council (EIC) is funded! The VIRUSong consortium consists of partners from France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands. L'Université de Lyon is coordinator and in Groningen a PhD student and a post-dcos will work on the project.

Together with Rifka Vlijm from Groningen and researchers from Amsterdam, Delft and Utrecht we were awarded a NWO-XL grant. In this 3 M€ project, led by David Dulin (VU), we will scrutinize coronavirus dynamics using biophysics approaches.
