Dr. K.A. (Karsten) Schulz
Dr. Karsten Schulz is an Assistant Professor Governance & Innovation at Campus Fryslân. The main focus of his research is on the relationship between climate governance, anticipatory risk management and the governance of emerging technologies such as blockchain. He holds a PhD from the Center for Development Research at the University of Bonn, Germany. Before he joined Campus Fryslân he worked as a government consultant in the field of digitalization and as a researcher for a number of international organizations and climate change related research projects with a particular focus on climate adaptation in West Africa. He is also a research fellow of the Earth System Governance Project.
