B.J.J. (Benjamin) Leruth, PhD
Dr. Benjamin Leruth is an Assistant Professor (UD1) in Politics and Society specializing in comparative welfare policy, long-term politics, democratic innovations, Euroscepticism and differentiation in the European Union.
Prior to joining the University of Groningen, he worked as Assistant Professor in Politics and Public Administration at the University of Canberra (2017-19), as a Research Associate at the University of Kent (2015-17) and as a Teaching Fellow in Politics at the University of Bath (2014-15). He also held a visiting fellowship at the ARENA Centre for European Studies (University of Oslo). He holds a Ph.D. in Politics from the University of Edinburgh, a LL.M. in European Law from the University of Kent and a BA in Political Science from the University of Namur.
