My research interests are currently developed in three projects:
1. Contested Territorialities of EU Accession examines the production of a European multiplicity in the context of contested political territorialities in East-Central and South-Eastern Eruope. I study the local (policy and lived) encounters with the de-politicization and functionalization of territoriality stemming from the EU's regional (development) policy.
2. European Multiplicity in Oral and Visual Narratives of Migration creates a digital archive of visual memories of migration to contest securitization of human mobility in the context of the EU's migration regime.
3. Protests and Popular Uprisings in South-East Europe problematizes European dis/integration through (European) citizenship discourses and practices in the popular protests in South-East Europe.
