Pre-LLM programmes
Introduction
Pre-LLM programmes are 1-year, 60 ECTS bridging programmes for students who want to enter one of the Faculty of Law’s LLM programmes, but have certain deficiencies in their academic background. Once candidates have successfully completed the Pre-LLM programme, they can enrol in the corresponding Master's programme.
Educational Background
Students who pursue a Pre-LLM must have one of the following degrees to be considered for admission:
-
A Bachelor degree of a Dutch university of Applied Science in the field of Law ('HBO-Recht'/International and European Law, accredited, 240 ECTS)
-
A Bachelor degree in the field of law from a non-Dutch higher education institution that is comparable to a Dutch university of applied science (rather than to a “research university”)
-
A Bachelor degree in a field other than law from a Dutch or non-Dutch higher education institution that is comparable to a Dutch research university
