Campus Fryslân is a highly interdisciplinary Faculty where research is focussed on areas such as Health, Governance, Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Culture, Language & Technology and Knowledge Infrastructures. In the Sustainable Health department we catalise all research around health and wellbeing.

Research grants

• NWO project “Measuring health from a broad perspective”. 01-01-2022 - 31-12-2024. The aim of this project is to develop an instrument that is able to measure perceived health in a multidimensional manner. Positive health and the capability approach will be applied as framework. The project is executed by a national consortium consisting of Maastricht University, Leiden University, University of Groningen, Fontys Hogeschool, Avans Hogeschool and Salut. At Campus Fryslân we will further develop the context of health that is an integral element of the measurement tool for perceived health.
