Visit of the Leuphana University Lüneburg
On 24th November, Prof.dr. Sascha Spoun, president of Leuphana University Lüneburg, visited the University of Groningen, together with Prof. Roman Trötschel, professor for Social Organizational and Political Psychology and Ms. Hanna Maria Degener, Managing director of the Association of North German Universities ( Verbund Norddeutscher Universitäten VNU). They were welcomed by the vice Dean of Behavioural and Social Sciences Prof.dr. Hilda Amsing and the professors and the coordinator in charge for the double degree programme Master “Sustainability and Environmental Psychology”.
Prof. Spoun is the Chair of VNU. The delegation met with President Jouke de Vries and the UG team of University of the North, to exchange latest developments regarding the strategy of University of the North and the Alliance of North German Universities. The University of Groningen is an associate member of VNU since 1994. The alliance focuses on cooperation and exchange of best practices regarding quality assessment in education and research and career options for researchers.
