“We are the Behavioural and Social Sciences Embassy of the Green Office. Our community consists of a dedicated group of enthusiastic students, and we’re always glad to welcome new members into our embassy.

Our aim is to spread the word of sustainability, and present sustainable practices for everyday life. We usually meet up once every week in the Heymansgebouw to chat about our ongoing projects and discuss new ideas.

As the BSS embassy, we place a strong emphasis on connecting people and creating opportunities to present sustainable approaches that can lead to environmentally conscious changes in our routines. We achieve this by organizing a series of fun events, not only bringing us closer to these goals but also learning a lot from each other in the meantime.

This October, we hosted our very first 'natural dying' Halloween-themed movie night, adding a touch of creativity to the season while educating us about sustainable burials. In the upcoming months, we’re preparing a clothing and book swap event, as well as a sustainable DIY workshop, with many more events in the pipeline.”
