Human movement scientists are driven to observe, measure, understand and improve movement. Human movement sciences is a broad two-year master programme that covers fundamental knowledge from several academic fields like Biomechanics, Neuroscience, Behavioural Sciences, Biomedical Engineering and Data Science. There are two profiles in which you can specialize: Functional recovery and rehabilitation and Motor function and cognition in healthy ageing. However, a combination is also possible.
Students who are interested in the scientific side of sports can opt for a Minor or a two-year Master’s programme in Sport Sciences. Relatively new is the Minor More Health Years, which offers students a multidisciplinary introduction to contemporary issues in the field of public health.
