dr. W. (Wim) Westerman
I focus in my lectures on capital budgeting, working capital management, corporate valuation and also business ethics.
During the nineties, I taught the course International Financial Management (IFM). I lectured the course Advanced Financial Management (AFM), a master's course on financial management with control and internationalisation flavours, up until 2012 and its follow-up master's course International Corporate Finance until 2021.
I am currently active in the courses Financial Management BDK, Financiering A&C and Ethics for Business Management (all BSc Bedrijfskunde) and International Business Strategy (MSc IB).
I coordinated the UG's International Financial Management (IFM) Programme (2010-2015) and still supervise thesis projects here. Nowadays, however, I supervise rather thesises in the BSc International Business in the IFM field.
