N.F. (Nicolas) Gäckle, MA

Nicolas is a PhD candidate in History and Theory of International Relations. He obtained an MA in Peace Research and International Relations and a BA in Political Science from the University of Tübingen, completing his studies with a thesis on the temporal and virtual underpinnings of EU bordering practices. In 2016, he spent a semester abroad at the University of Birmingham (UK).

During his studies he worked as a student research assistant at the Chair of International Relations at the Institute of Political Science in Tübingen and was part of the Class of Advanced Studies on (Dis)Embodied Cognition at the Centre for Interdisciplinary and Intercultural Studies in Tübingen (2017-2018).
