A.M. (Agata) Szperl, PhD
In the past, I worked as the Learning Community Director for Molecular Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, where I played a leading role in designing, implementing, and coordinating the three-year, competency-based Bachelor curriculum. Guiding lecturers through the process of designing new, innovative courses as part of this newly designed curriculum was not only a responsibility but also great fun and pleasure!
Today, my journey continues within the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE), where I am dedicated to enhancing the quality of education by providing support to our lecturers, program directors, and Teaching Assistants (TAs). I lead the Quality Agreements Project - Professionalize Teaching Assistants, an initiative aimed at preparing TAs to facilitate small-scale education at FSE.
I strongly believe in fostering collaboration among various stakeholders to maintain the quality of education we deliver. With the introduction of tenure trackers with an educational profile, I see a tremendous opportunity to cultivate a collaborative community where educators and learners work together to drive innovation and excellence in education.
