A.C. (Anita) Keller, Dr
Through my research endeavors, I strive to improve employee and leader well-being and our understanding of the underlying motivational, cognitive, and temporal processes that explain behavior and well-being in an organizational setting. To attain these goals, I explore three lines of research rooted in occupational health and career psychology:
(1) how individuals attain and move between jobs and occupational roles,
(2) the interplay between employees’ working conditions and well-being over time, and
(3) how individuals (fail to) adapt to stressful conditions and the role of dynamic self-regulation in this process.
I received my PhD from the University of Bern (Switzerland, 2013), and did my postdoc at Michigan State University (United States) before I started a position at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands). I currently serve as an associate editor for the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology and an editorial board member for the Journal of Applied Psychology and Journal of Business and Psychology.
