Research themes

Students in the Environmental Psychology specialization will focus on understanding the relationship between humans and their environments, with a specific focus on pro-environmental behavior, acceptability of environmental policies, and climate change adaptation.

Research Group

The Environmental Psychology specialization is organized by the Environmental Psychology expertise group, that studies:

  • individual, social, and contextual factors influencing environmental behaviour,
  • factors influencing the effects and acceptability of policies and interventions to promote sustainable behaviour,
  • effects of sustainable behaviour on well-being.

The group is involved in many interdisciplinary and international projects that study ways to combat climate change and its negative impacts.
