
QingTian award to Yang Li

On February 20th, Dr Yang Li was awarded a top Chinese prize -'The Scholarship of QingTian Association of the Netherlands'- at a ceremony in Rotterdam. This recognizes her achievements in her research field of bioinformatics, systems genetics and complex diseases. The event has been reported on several official Chinese news websites, including that of the Xinhua Agency (the most important official news journal in China).
Although this is an award from a non-governmental organisation, it aims at encouraging all Chinese researchers and students working in the Netherlands to achieve a better performance. She is honoured and happy to have received this award.
