
Prizes and honors spring 2019 – a cum laude thesis, best presentation and a medal

On May 15th 2019, Floris Imhann received his PhD cum laude - with honors - for his work on "The gut microbiome in intestinal diseases". His thesis can be downloaded here.
PhD student Adriaan van der Graaf was awarded the best student presentation prize for his presentation “MR-link: Mendelian Randomization under linkage disequilibrium and unobserved pleiotropy” at the European Mathematical Genetics Meeting (EMGM) in Dublin on April 8th and 9th.
Lodewijk-Sandkuil Professor Cisca Wimenga was honored with a medal of appreciation from the Tohoku Medical Society in Sendai during her recent visit to Japan.
