Education

TRÊS organises and/or participates in the following courses within the Bachelor programmes Biology and Life Science & Technology, and within the Master programmes Biology, Ecology & Evolution and Marine Biology. We coordinate the Specialization track Modelling in the Life Sciences in the Master programme Biology. The course Evolutionary Theory is available for students enrolled in the Specialization track Evolutionary Biology in the Master programme Ecology & Evolution. In addition, we offer a broad spectrum of MSc research projects in the Master programmes Biology and Ecology & Evolution.

MSc research projects

The list of projects on this page is by no means complete, and only intended to give an indication of the possibilities. Most of our projects are specifically tailored to the needs and interests of our students. As a general rule, student projects are based on computer simulations. We therefore strongly advise to follow a programming course before starting a project. To this end, we have developed the (self-study) programming course C++ for Biologists that is also offered once a year in the regular MSc programme.
