What do the buddies do?

Buddies form a group based on common interests. In these groups, they are expected to be there for each other and to share experiences and navigate through the ups and downs of being a new student at a university. The higher-year buddies have a more active role, by providing information and suggesting activities to the group. The first-year buddies may turn to the group with questions.
Some groups might meet every other week for an activity together, some might have an online chat group, some might even form lasting friendships. The groups can decide for themselves what type of interaction they prefer. We estimate a weekly time investment of a few hours, with individual variations.
