The WIOD Project
This subsection of the GGDC website hosts the data and documentation of the World Input-Output Database (WIOD), previously found on www.wiod.org. The original project website has been archived and is no longer maintained. For questions concerning the WIOD, please send an email to wiod rug.nl.
The World Input-Output Database is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License .
Release 2016
World Input-Output Tables and underlying data, covering 43 countries, and a model for the rest of the world for the period 2000-2014. Data for 56 sectors are classified according to the International Standard Industrial Classification revision 4 (ISIC Rev. 4). The tables adhere to the 2008 version of the SNA.
Release 2013
World Input-Output Tables and underlying data, covering 40 countries, and a model for the rest of the world for the period 1995-2011. Data for 35 sectors are classified according to the International Standard Industrial Classification revision 3 (ISIC Rev. 3). The tables adhere to the 1993 version of the SNA.
Long-run WIOD
In a separate, but related project, a long-run time series of World Input-Output Tables have been estimated for the period 1965-2000. The tables include data for 25 countries and 23 sectors of the economy, classified according to the International Standard Industrial Classification revision 3 (ISIC Rev. 3). The tables adhere to the 1993 version of the SNA.
