Working as an international student
In Groningen, there are plenty of opportunities to work while you study. It is not necessary to speak Dutch to get a job (though it is certainly helpful), for there are many positions where you can communicate in English with both colleagues and customers.
There is an extra benefit for EU/EEA nationals: you can get Dutch student finance and free public transport if you meet the criterea.
Important note: Students from outside the EU/EEA are required to get a working permit. Also, you need a Dutch health insurance in order to work here, even part time (internships excluded).
