The Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) is at the Zernike Campus, located in the north-western part of the city and the majority of FSE’s buildings are situated here. At Zernike, more than 4000 researchers, employees and students work together on innovative solutions which are of importance in the future.
At the Campus, you can also find the ACLO. This is the overarching student sports organization of the University of Groningen and the Hanze university of applied sciences and for the 49 sports clubs of the ACLO. For the students of both organizations the ACLO offers sports in many different ways.
The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) can be found in the city centre. This network offers a lot of activities for international students.
Undergraduate and graduate students from partner universities can spend up to 10 months at FSE as guest students, following courses and/or engaging in research projects of variable duration. Guests students are waived tuition fees and have unlimited access to all student services at the University of Groningen.
