We are happy to announce that on 17 May 2017, students who are participating in courses belonging to the Energy Specialist programme (either Energy & Finance, Energy Transition & Innovation or Economics of Regulating markets) have the opportunity to register for a visit to a gas plant (Electrabel Maximale Centrale) of Engie in Lelystad and solar park (Vierverlaten) in Groningen. The excursion starts around 8.30 am - 5 pm and is free of charge.

The students will get a tour. In addition, the students will have presentations and discussions on recent developments in the electricity market, investments in power plants and reorganization of firms.

As there is a limited number of seats on the bus, we have to select students who may join. Selection will be done randomly among those students who qualify (i.e. following one or more of the Energy Specialist courses). In case you need to cancel, inform us as soon as possible (energycertificate.feb rug.nl).
