Dr. Killian J McCarthy speaking about survival strategies for incumbents at the Flame Conference
Datum: | 15 mei 2017 |
The energy industry is in transition, and the incumbent energy firms are struggling to stay relevant. New strategies and new business models are, therefore, needed. Dr Killian J McCarthy, a professor of strategy, and the manager of the CEER Center, gave a lecture to the industry on the topic at the Flame Conference, in Amsterdam, as part of Gas in Transition Workshop. In this, he looked to examples from other industries, and painted a picture of potential survival strategies for the energy incumbents.
Flame is Europe's leading natural gas and LNG conference, attending by 650+ gas producers and consumers, infrastructure providers, traders and regulators.
