About UGBS and UNITAR

To ensure up-to-date education, UGBS offers this online executive programme n in cooperation with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

The University of Groningen Business School (UGBS) is part of the University of Groningen’s Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and belongs to the 1% of business schools worldwide with both EQUIS and AACSB accreditations. UGBS aims to support management-level professionals in further developing themselves as change leaders. Its’ work is based on a firm conviction that scientific insights are valuable at every stage of a professional career and focuses on both personal growth and professional performance.

The Groningen Centre for Health Law (GCHL) studies and teaches health law through a transboundary and multidisciplinary lens - cutting across international, regional and domestic law, and resting on insights from (health) science. Both in research and teaching, the role of human rights and the right to health in addressing access to quality healthcare services as well as disease prevention and health promotion is analized. GCHL further explores the interaction of different legal fields in specific issue areas, e.g humanitarian law, environmental law, economic law, etc. GCHL research themes include health inequalities, disease prevention, vulnerability in healthcare settings, as well as reproductive, mental and environmental health.

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) has been training diplomats and other key actors in the multilateral system to strengthen their capacities and knowledge in the practice of diplomacy and enabling positive change for 60 years. As the training arm of the United Nations, UNITAR provides innovative learning solutions to individuals, organizations, and institutions to enhance global decision-making and support country-level action for shaping a better future.
