Programme of the Executive MBA Energy Transition
The new Executive MBA Energy Transition Programme starts each September with a new cohort. The two-year programme consists of a mix of classroom lectures, online study, individual and group assignments, and personal coaching and intervision. The programme is complemented with 3 field trips to Paris, Berlin and Rotterdam. Each trip takes about one week, and offers participants the possibility to personally interact with other business professionals, policy makers and academics, and visit inspring sites.
Locations
The classes take place both online and on location. The programme includes inspirational site visits and guest lectures in Paris at GRDF/ENGIE, Berlin at knowledge institutes, wind and solar parks, and coal mining sites, Groningen at a renewable methane facility, the port of Rotterdam at hydrogen and CCS projects, and at a Vattenfall/Shell offshore wind farm. The general management courses are mostly offered via online classes and training materials.
Programme structure
The 2-year programme consists of three theme-based modules of 8 months. Each module includes three courses and ends with an integration project focused on application of the theory. These three projects together comprise your master’s thesis. The integration projects can be based on a business case or on a case from your own organisation. Parallel to the entire programme, you take part in a development trajectory focused on your personal effectiveness and leadership skills.
