NRO Scholarships of Teaching and Learning Grant Laureates at UG
Encouraging Innovation
The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) grant program supports teachers in conducting systematic inquiries into their teaching practice to enhance student learning. All teachers, regardless of experience, are encouraged to apply. The first round of the SoTL grant program is complete, and three winning projects are within the UG. We congratulate the winners with great pleasure and wish them all the best in implementing their projects.
Awarded Projects
The following projects will receive a grant:

Dr. Michael Lerch (FSE): Beyond Solving Problems: Measuring the Impact of Collaborative Activities on Chemistry Students' Performance and Belonging. This project assesses how collaborative activities can enhance academic performance and a sense of belonging among chemistry students.

Dr. Mayra Mascareño Lara (BSS): LudiCo: A serious game for individual and collective reflexivity to support collaborative learning in diverse higher education classrooms. This project involves developing a serious game to promote individual and collective reflection, enhancing collaborative learning in diverse classroom settings.

Dr. Oksana Kavatsyuk (UCG): Gender differences among students in active-learning classrooms in university STEM education. This research explores gender differences in student engagement and performance in active learning environments within STEM education.
