Series of Equipping workshops on peer learning and sharing teaching practices - collaboration between Stellenbosch University (SU) and the University of Groningen (UG)
The SU and UG are collaborating on an assortment of themes, one of which is on inclusion, diversity and internationalization. We are offering a variety of workshops on this topic. The first two sessions were held in June and October on sharing inclusive education practices from both universities and internationalising course design.
In this session, we will further explore the dimensions of diversity and inclusion in our classrooms by examining the implication for facilitating group work and intercultural group dynamics. It addresses the key question of how to facilitate its intercultural dynamics with a view to creating meaningful interaction between culturally and linguistically diverse students. The aim is to equip lecturers with the necessary skills to facilitate multicultural groups efficiently in order to enhance collaboration and intercultural learning.
As each workshop can stand on its own, it is possible for you to join all of them, or just the one or ones that interest you.
