How to create engaging, triggering podcasts? The winning team of the UG Best Practice Award, will share tips and tricks on how they created preparatory podcasts to replace online lectures with you during the TAG webinar on 14 June 2022.
How did the award winning team, Erin Wilson, Linde Draaisma, and Tina Otten, implement preparatory podcasts in their teaching practice? In their course “Climate Change, End Times, Sustainability”, the teachers presented weekly podcasts to students which they made together with scholars from many different disciplines, in addition to weekly readings, presentations, and a policy plan and essay where students argue their own perspectives.
The preparatory podcasts together with the real-life discussions provided an accessible and fun blended learning environment which gave students the tools to start thinking about topics they had never even considered before.
