Interdisciplinary project grants: How to get started
When: | Mo 03-10-2022 12:00 - 14:00 |
Where: | Engelse Zaal, Academy Building |
Are you looking for ways to finance your interdisciplinary pilot initiative in education and want to learn more about how you could do that through interfaculty collaboration?
Recently, the Faculties and the Board of the University set up an incentive fund for interdisciplinary projects to fund small-scale, exploratory one-year projects aimed at developing interdisciplinary research, teaching, and impact. For which kind of activities is this grant scheme a good fit? Which initiatives could you get financed and how can this be the impetus for the development of a larger project in the field of interdisciplinary education? How do you involve others in your ideas?
During this lunch-meeting Senior Policy Officer Nienke de Deugd will tell more about the grant scheme and the experiences so far. Lukas Linsi, Co-chair of the YAG Interdisciplinarity Working Group will reflect on the intent and potential of the scheme. Grant applicant Joke Fleer will tell you more on her awarded initiative in teaching. Bring your own ideas for developing interdisciplinary education and find out if this grant scheme could help you realise them. The meeting will conclude with an inventory of needs and ideas for a follow-up. Lunch will be provided.
