Vaccinations
Your study of Medicine will have both theoretical and practical components, including patient contact. For your own safety and that of your patients, it is important that you are vaccinated (against Hepatitis B). In addition, you will be screened for tuberculosis (TBC) and multi-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), a species of hospital bacteria. Your degree programme has facilities for this purpose; you will receive more information immediately after starting the degree programme.
