Josephine Strijker (Class of 2017)

At UCG I majored in Health and Life Sciences, which triggered my curiosity into biomedical research. Right now I doing a research internship in the lab of the Princess Maxima Center for Pediatric Oncology as part of my master program at the University of Utrecht. UCG taught me to be critical and always strive to get the best out of myself and out of the projects I am working on. This is also what helps me getting further in the research I am working on right now. Next to that, the environment at UCG made it possible to always feel I can ask for help with anything, which is something I now take with me and use to get to the places I want to be.
