I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Groningen, supported by a scholarship from the Agency for Research and Development (ANID), Chile. My research lies at the intersection of Embodied Cognition, Interpersonal Synchronization, and Individual Differences within social interactions.
I explore the embodied manifestations of psychological constructs, such as Personality, at intra- and interpersonal levels, employing the Complex Systems framework.
My academic trajectory began with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, specializing in clinical practice, at the University of Talca, Chile. I graduated with honors at the top position in my cohort. As a clinician, I engaged in psychotherapy and trained as an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist.
Later, I earned a Research Master's (MSc) in Behavior and Cognition from the University of Barcelona, Spain with a full scholarship from ANID.
Currently, I am actively contributing to the academic community as a member of the Mindwise editorial board.
My academic journey reflects a commitment to a diverse skill set in clinical and research domains and an interest in studying the link between embodied cognition, psychological constructs, and interpersonal dynamics.
