Parking
Visitors are advised to use the Ossenmarkt public car park. After leaving the car park, cross over the nearest bridge and walk straight ahead into the Oude Boteringestraat. Take the second right turn (or third if you count the little alley) into the Broerstraat. You will find the University Library to your left.

Accessibility

Parking for people with functional or other impairments

Two parking spaces have been reserved for people with functional or other impairments at the Poststraat car park.
To reserve one, please call tel. +31 (0)50 363 5000, or +31 (0)50 363 5001 for staff members.

Please contact the student counsellors at the Student Service Centre (for students) or your manager (for UG staff) if you wish to make long-term use of one of these parking spaces.
Disability vehicles cannot access the bicycle parking station at the Academy square opposite the University Library.

Entrances
The side entrance is located to the left of the main entrance, on the Poststraat. Please ring the doorbell to access the side entrance.

Lifts
There is a lift in the University Library. It can be found in the central hall on the ground floor, next to Starbucks. The lift provides access to all floors of the building. You do not need a card to use it. The lift provides voice support.

Toilet facilities
Wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities can be found at the following locations:

Third floor Room 0337
Fourth floor Room 0437

Nursing mothers’ room / first-aid room / reflection room
The nursing mothers’ room is in room 0021a (ground floor). This room is equipped with a fridge, hot and cold water, a good chair and is of course lockable. The room can be reserved during UB opening hours. If you wish to use the nursing mothers' room, please report to the reception desk, they will provide access to the online agenda to reserve a timeslot yourself.
The first-aid room is in room 0021 (ground floor). This room has a table and chair, a stretcher, a sink, a tap, a hand towel dispenser, a first-aid kit, vests, an AED, a fire extinguisher, blankets, and pillows.
The reflection room is in room 0142 (first floor). This room is open to all.
