I have spent seven years in the field of neuroscience studying how sleep and social interactions influence cognitive processes, particularly memory. I am currently investigating the intricate relationship between sleep and social interactions, with a particular focus on how sleep deprivation disrupts the formation and retrieval of social memories. In the past, I have researched how social isolation can accelerate the onset of dementia in mice and how disrupted social interactions can affect reproduction in Drosophila melanogaster. I have developed novel behavioral paradigms, created innovative tracking methods, and utilized immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry to investigate these processes. I employ a combination of experimental techniques and quantitative data analysis to gain insights into behavior and memory across different model organisms.
