Accessibility and facilities

Due to the strict bicycle parking policy in the city of Groningen, it is recommended that you park your bike in one of the free bike storages in the city center. The closest, indoor bike storage is situated below the Groot Handelshuis.

The House of Connections does not have its own parking facilities. You can park your car in one of the parking garages in the vicinity of the city center. The nearest parking garages are:

Train:
The nearest train stations to the Grote Markt are:

Centraal Station Groningen: 1,2 km, 15 minute walk
Station Groningen-Noord: 1,5, 19 minute walk

Bus:
The following bus lines stop close to the Grote Markt: 1, 4, 6, 10, 163, 304, 309, 324. Depending on the bus line, you can get off at the Sint Jansbrug stop or at the Gedempte Zuiderdiep stop. From both stops it is about a 7 minute walk to the House of Connections.

The House of Connections is wheelchair accessible and the different floors can be reached by elevators. At the entrance, immediately to the right of the large stairs, is an elevator that only takes you to the first floor. If you want to go to the office spaces on the second floor, you can use the lifts on the first floor to reach the office floor.

There is a doorbell next to the front door of the office space of the House of Connections on the second floor, which you can ring if you want to gain access to this space.

The House of Connections has an enclosed, private space where visitors can retreat for a moment of silence, to pray, to breastfeed or to pump.

The room has a comfortable chair, several electricity sockets, a sink with hot and cold running water, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
