Databases

The shape and the format in which you want to save your data may vary. Sometimes an Excel spreadsheet is sufficient. An Access database can be a solution for large datasets when you are working together with another person. A third option is a wiki. The CIT provides courses in the use of these three possibilities.

In the Open Learning Centre you can qualify yourself under the guidance of a teacher. Other database products also are possible (for example Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL).

Customized Database

RIS can also advise you in making a customized database. Both the need to create a data model analysisation and the construction of the database as well the development of an interface are among the the possibilities.
