A part of what we store in the cloud, is our digital past. Our dependence on digital technologies is growing, but its structural ecological impact is only just starting to be discussed. Does the power of Big Tech means that our digital memory is at risk? Do we really want to save everything in the Cloud? In her blog, Marije Miedema explains why we need to start thinking about data autonomy.
