Fungal fame for two University of Groningen scientists

Two University of Groningen scientists have made it into the Top-30 of highly cited fungus researchers, according to the magazine Lab Times. Professors Marten Veenhuis and Ida van der Klei are in positions 22 and 27 respectively. In all, six scientists from Dutch universities are in the Top-30. Overall, the Netherlands comes second after Germany, but before the UK.
