Science LinX Expo Science LinX connects and engages students, teachers, society and the general public: by offering science a stage in the form of exhibits.
Star Dome Our star dome, also called a mobile planetarium, is an inflatable dome in which you can sit with the whole class to admire the starry sky and take a virtual journey through the universe.
Zpannend Zernike Zpannend Zernike is an annual science festival in Groningen. It is an outing for young and old that gives you the chance to learn about science.
Visit the Blaauw Observatory Since 2008, the University of Groningen has a real observatory on the Zerniketer site: the Blaauw Observatory. It is placed on top of the new Bernoulliborg building and is regularly open for visitors.
Experience the darkness The Wadden area is one of the last places in the Netherlands where it still gets really dark. Experience the dark with a loan telescope and visit the planet trail or one of the night gardens along the Wadden coast.
Our Festivals & Events Science LinX is active at several festivals, such as the Night of Arts and Science and Zpannend Zernike. We were also at Noorderzon, Lowlands, SummerLabb, Indian Summer & Hullabaloo.
Visit the Kenniscafé The Kenniscafé is a meeting place for curious people from Groningen and the surrounding area. Every month a current relevant societal topic is discussed together with scientists and experts.
