Symposium | Anthropocene: How Humans Shape(d) the Earth

On Saturday the 3rd of May the Environmental Heritage group is organising a symposium about the Anthropocene as part of an activity for the honours program.

We would like to extend an invitation to anyone who is interested in the topic of human interaction with their environments. The symposium will take place in the Jantina Tammeszaal in the University Library between 10-16.

The schedule for the day is:

11.15-12.00 Federica Marulo about nature-culture interconnections in the built environment
12.00-13.00 Lunch break
13.00-13.45 Massih Zekavat: 'Demystifying the Anthropocene: Ecomodernism and Market Capitalism'
13.45-14.30 Carol Garzon Lopez: 'Where is nature?'
14.30-15.00 Coffee break
