Chinese delegation visits Agricola: Exciting Collaboration Opportunities Explored Between Agricola School and the city of Yancheng
The Agricola School, in collaboration with the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality, recently hosted a delegation from the city of Yancheng, China. The visit aimed to foster collaborations in researching the Yellow Sea wetland, which gained UNESCO World Heritage status in 2019, on par with the esteemed Wadden Sea area.
Led by Mr. WU Benhui, Vice Mayor of Yancheng, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions during their visit to Groningen. The delegation, representing a population of 7 million, expressed keen interest in interdisciplinary studies on global flyway, regional economic development, sustainable tourism, and agriculture.
