Research of the Van Wees group includes:
1) Efficient long range magnon spin transport in ferromagnetic and antiferromagnet 3D and 2D materials and devices
2) Electronic spin transport and spin control in graphene and related two-dimensional materials and devices
3) Proximity induced magnetism and spin orbit coupling in Van der Waals multilayers of graphene and two dimensional magnetic and semiconductor materials
4) Spin-charge coupling and chirality induced spin selectivity in nanoscale chiral materials and devices
