Prof. Shirin Faraji became the chair of the KNCV-CTC devision

The KNCV Division Computational & Theoretical Chemistry (CTC) was established in 2017. KNCV- CTC is engaged in the promotion of knowledge of Computational and Theoretical Chemistry in a broad sense and the promotion of the professional and general interests of Computational and Theoretical Chemists in the Netherlands. The scope extends from theoreticians in quantum theory and simulation to experimentalists with an interest in theory and model computations. This includes method and software development, the development a theoretical framework and models of chemical phenomena as well as relevant developments in informatics. While the core of the division is clearly in chemistry, it wishes to be inclusive towards all interested in adjacent natural sciences, such as, physics and biology.
