Tamalika Banerjee in Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Natuurkunde (NTvN)

The Netherlands' Physical Society (Nederlands Natuurkundige Vereniging) is celebrating its 100th annyversary. In their monthly journal, the Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Natuurkunde, they are celebrating this with a special feature on women in physics. A former female physicist and an active one are featured side-by-side. In the August edition it is time for a "Groningen" couple: Tamalika Banerjee - professor of Spintronics of Functional Materials at the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials (University of Groningen) and Clasine van Winter (1929-2000), late professor mathematical physics at University of Kentucky at Lexington and the only female PhD student of Nobel Laureate Frits Zernike.
