Justin Ye's group: Dichalcogenide Gets Two Faces
Justin Ye and colleagues induce two distinct behaviors—superconductivity and metallic conduction—in adjacent atomic layers of an initially semiconducting transition-metal dichalcogenide flake.
Their work Inducing and Manipulating Heteroelectronic States in a Single MoS 2 Thin Flake was published in Physical Review Letters on October 5th and featured in an APS Physics Synopsis the same day.
