What a month for Zernike Institute Researcher Maria Antonietta Loi (Photophysics and OptoElectronics): On April 18th she gave two talks at the MRS Spring Meeting, one on Quantum Dot Solar cells, one on Perovskite Solar cells. Giving two talks on different topics at the same conference on the same day is already quite impressive, but than having both featured as Scientific Highlights by the MRS is extraordinary. Want to learn more about the highlighted work, here you can find the features on quantum dot solar cells and the one on perovskite solar cells.

But the highlights at the MRS Spring meeting were not all. Just two weeks later she learned that her work on Carbon nanotubes self-assembling into tiny transistors (earlier highlighted by Science LinX), was not only accepted for publication in Advanced Materials, but will also be featured by artwork on the cover of the print version.
