Nanoscience again best university Master's degree programme
The Master’s degree in Nanoscience of the University of Groningen is the best university Master’s degree programme in The Netherlands, according to the new Keuzegids Masters 2016 [Higher Education Guide 2016 – Master’s programmes]. Nanoscience was awarded the highest marks of all the university Master’s programmes (96 out of 100).

Nanoscience received the recognition as best master's programme already in the years 2013, 2014, and 2015. The programme is organized by the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials. It was setup to foster and train new generations of materials researchers through an interdisciplinary programme. The students are trained by experiencing top-research in a multidisciplinary environment encompassing physics, chemistry and molecular biology.
