Early Career Researchers
The Young Academy Groningen works towards a supportive working environment for early-career researchers at the UG. Members promotes mentorship and coaching for early-career researchers and explores a more individually tailored and diverse tenure-track system, which rewards papers and grants as well as teaching and other contributions to the organisation. In the past the Young Academy has organized workshops for young academic research staff on Negotiation Strategies, Work-Life balance and science policy. As we offer more training and workshops we will list them here. We have ties with the UG Talent Development team and can offer advise to persons at early stages of their academic careers.
