Title: An effective quantum state for black holes
Abstract: Given the lack of experimental data, there is no established quantum theory of gravity and the search for dynamical theories consistent with the observed Universe, among all those that are not (recently also known as the "swampland"), attracts much interest. We propose to investigate this issue by focusing on the properties of the quantum states, rather than extended dynamics, and show some results that can be achieved in the description of black holes.
