OIKOS PhD-Postdoc weekend

The long expected PhD weekend for all PhD students and Postdocs of OIKOS will take place from 18-20 February 2022. We hope to see many of you there!
Program
This weekend is organised for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in the form of a retreat. The weekend is meant for everyone who wants to get away from their normal daily activities and take time to focus fully on themselves and their research. As for now, the set-up of the program is as follows: we start with lunch on Friday (12:00) and finish with lunch on Sunday (13:00). Each day of the weekend will be divided into social encounters (breakfast, lunch, drinks, dinner) and two two-hour blocks, during each of which you can choose to work on your own research, do an (outdoor) activity or join a plenary session.
The current set-up of the plenary sessions will cover topics such as:
- Academic writing
- Source documentation
- Information processing
- Peer review
- Supervision and communication
